Tue | 64 minutes 12km 11.2/hr. Hilly run but in the rain and I was flat. |
3:14, 3:23, 3:24 | 9km in total feeling very average with massive tightness on Hammies etc. This is about 10sec slower than 4 weeks ago due to sickness finishing and detox-arghh |
47 min, 12.8/hr 10km | Laste morning run as had a late night with dogs at vet etc. Still running like a busted arse. |
36:02 for 10*1km efforts, 17km in total. 3:35, 32, 41, 45, 44, 42, 41, 38, 32, 3:10 (off garmin total a bit short) | So I decided to do this as I felt nowhere near ready for Striders and I wasn’t. In squally rain and strong wind this was on Moore Park on grass and I was a long way behind Lara and Sean so it was slow and I was happy most of the squad was away. |
Well I started to feel better on Sat eventhough it was a shit time, so then in the pouring rain when I got home I smashed my knee and almost broke my thumb setting up a WT, needless to say no matter how positive I was this morning after an hour my knee hurt so much I could barely run and hobbled the last 5 or more, running 23-24km in 1:45. |

Sounds like the detox and sickness from last week is having its trailling effects! Get back on the scotches I say!
