Sunday
Sprint Tri at central coast Tri club.

Early start and not much sleep but I was happy to do the 1.5 hour drive for a sprint race up at CCTC near Swansea. Good small crowd for a 750/20/5 in 1hr 50 somethings seconds.

Must say had a good race because I pushed hard in the ride after my usual disappointing swim. Although I went hard or tried to I was a bit sluggish in the water and was slow of the unexpected starting hooter.

It was a 6 lap bike course for the 20km which was a lot of fun and I pushed hard with my power at 263 watts, 32 minutes 20.5km. It was hard to settle into a rhythm but I gave it to myself pretty hard and was loving catching Brett who was racing very, very well.

The run was cross country (tree roots everywhere) and pretty uneven. Due to yesterday's session and the push on the bike today it hurt and I felt a bit wobbly on the legs, but it was what I needed.

Hit the front before the halfway point of the run and finished strongly. All in all another solid week and very busy at 2XU Paddington too. We are definitely welcoming more and more customers every week wit a good cross section across our ranges of Compression, Triathlon, Cycle, Swim Run and Womens fitness coming in for the first time or coming back for their second or third visit.

Looking forward to Bussleton. Expectations none-don't know how Ive recovered and the training has been a bit up and down. Ill be looking forward to retiring the swim and bike for a few years to just run.
