3*400m Hard (Blew up physically and mentally)
Lots of 100 repeats with snorkel and no wetsuit.

I had nothing as Mark would say, I hate wetsuits. Firstly I was choking in the legs which made them burn and after all the running and riding it was hurting. By the end of the first rep of 400m, I was struggling but I did 3 before stopping in frustration, not to mention giving one of the guys a verbal as they kept touching my feet, my own fault fully. I was just so frustrated not to put in a quality set when Its now or never, After I got to the end I threw my goggles away in disgust and had a few words to myself before Mark N had a calming word to me.
Control the fire and use it in racing was what I took out of today. Anyway after swimming better than a lot of the squad on the weekend it was still a bit dissapointing.

Sounds like you are being pretty hard on yourself there V-man. Love the aggression though, it will hold you in good stead for Kona,

Mmm, maybe sometimes Pete, dont know really. I hurt everywhere at the moment and Im tired too. Oh well, whats a month hey? Also I hate not being able to perform at my best - But thats what loading is all about and the only way to perform better come race day hopefully. Striders tomorrow will be another example of being tired and underperforming.
