Monday 21st September - Ouch!

Well I guess that the run yesterday did have to hurt and Im sore today, calves very sore. Apart from that, with an early sleep Ive managed to pull up feeling pretty good generally.

The most pleasing point is that Im actually feeling strong for the first time probably since before I did Port Mac back in April. Im guessing that if you plan to do two Ironman well, you should only really feel good in the taper into these events. I havent started my taper but my body had caught up to the fatigue and adapted finally. Cutting back the long Tue morning runs has definately helped too.

Im pretty positive I can have a good race in Kona, dependant on how hot it is really!
