PM
Rest

Feeling pretty good by late afternoon with plenty of drinking water throughout the day and eating a bit. Saw Mark Newton late arvo for some supplies, and to talk through the next months program. Headed home to do some work prior to Jo's parents moving this WE which will make the training tight. Happy to sell old wetty and race wheels on EBAY and organised to get the new race wheels setup on Friday.

Anyway Results from Saturdays session follow
Target Lactate 2.7 to 3.5
Target Energy 4.7 to 7.5

After Swim 3.1 Lactate, 6.4 Energy
After 20km bike 1.9/5.8
After 60km bike 1.8/4.2
After 100km bike 2.5/6.8
After 10km run 2.7/7.1

Only 1 dip after 60km was an issue, I was a bout to take a gel at this stage. Also the Lactate increased in the last 40km with increased wind and heat. All results esp with Lactate though show I was either below or at the Low end of the scale which all looks good for the current pacing strategy. Keep the head screwed on, focus on the things I wasnt doing well and hurt, and keep training smart!
