Sunday 1st - Friday 6th February

AM Brick 90/14
Ride 89.42, 3:06, 28.7, 121 HR. This included 3 Bobbo hill reps which I was hurting on with the ride from the day before. The real average would have been a bit faster but generally it was a good solid ride from home with James, turning after Berowra and back via Bobbin Head.
Run 13.79, 1:00:24, 4:22 ave pace, 144 ave HR
I was fairly happy with the run with the further I went the faster I felt, got. I’m still not completely satisfied with the Garmin setup I’m running but will sort that. I didn’t run straight off the bike, there was around 20 minutes lost as I walked the dogs and put on the fuel belt for the run via the Spit to Manly to see the Cole Classic and a few of the guys who swam it! Nice breakfast, hot day, good run in hilly conditions.

Cricket down at Artarmon nets. Was looking forward to a relaxing roll of the arms, Pete quickly extinguished my hopes as his bowling caused me to play some lofted drives aggravating a few of the locals (Kermit), but apart from that it was great to hit the ball again with after many months of not even being near a cricket bat.

Slept in (On purpose) woke at 5:45, out of bed around 6:10 and that’s the longest I have stayed in bed for at least a month. Just wanted the break as the next 2 months of training seem relentless and never ending on the one hand, the other so close!

Hopped in early with 1200m. Was trying to stay aerobic, hence the reason I haven’t put up the session. I basically chopped and changed between sets as I tried to keep up, fins on/off etc. I was pretty tired.

Feeling sore and tired in the swim holding 1:30'-1:35's for the 100's going on 1:40 which was a bit below what I would like.
Running around in the afternoon getting a new Wetsuit and trying to sort out all my gear for the weekends training.
