2km swim, 100km bike, 10km run
Not sure exactly of the swim time, rode with an average of 36-37 on the bike with my HR 138-144 which was good. Although I didnt feel too great on the first 20km lap, I felt better the longer I went. The intention was to hold the IM pace and I did just that. The run was ok, 38minutes for 10km, which is faster than target IM pace, so I needed to control the forst 5km bett
Blood testing for lactate/energy levels were used to assess how we are doing. Mark was very pleased saying I was spot on, results will be posted soon.
Spent the afternoon catching up with Jodes at Cargo for birthday lunch, seeing Melbourne friend Denise at the QVB and swinging home via work to get ready for another day on the road.
