Ride was pretty good, stock standard no fast gear, took turns with Mark on a morning I was prepared to do 20km not close to 40km, so it was a solid hit out. I could feel my legs hurting but doesn't surprise looking at the data above.
best news today was receiving my new 2XU swim skin. Fit well and took it to the pool wearing it fo0r the set. With my tri clothes underneath it will be the perfect fir. Extremely comfortable garment and when in rhythem you can definitely notice the difference as opposed to swimming in a pair of Speedo's.
Finished the session a little early and skipped reps whenever I was feeling like I was having to go close to max (Only on 3*100's). Thanks to Chris from Hert who pretty much pulled together a perfect IM set for me which included in the main set 400 on 6:30 followed by 4*100 on 1:25 - Times 4!
Thu

Heavy legs still and a bit stiff - waiting for taper to kick in
Fri

Sat
2.5 hr wt 200-230 watts with a few efforte - It was raining
Sun
Race at Penrith. Scody teams sprint race.
This was a draft legal which I teamed up with Charlie and Nathan for racing in premier. The weather was terrible and luckily the rain held off. I considered pulling out a few times but in the end decided to just take the corners easy. I swam well just out behind Nathan and we waited a little for CL. Onto the bike and I felt strong taking turns, finally the fatigue is leaving the legs and Im feeling strong! The run was a breexe and it was pretty comfortable sitting in there with charlie - we finished 4th
