65km- Eucumbene ride. Ave? Didn’t start the Garmin.
Drive down was ok, left Sydney just after 8am and was tired after New Years, crash at Suttons delayed us for a while so in the end we got into Jindy around an hour later than planned. The weather was shocking for our first session out but that didn’t deter Pete. So Jeff Pete and I headed out to Eucumbene on what was a horrible ride, very windy and Peter riding strong on the way back. Seriously came close to being blown off the road a few times and we had a few stops as Pete flatted. However it was good to get out to the dam for the first time in around 4-5 years and started off the training program for Thredbo, the others had headed up and we had a pleasant suprise on arrival into Thredbo around 6:30pm for the stay at PURE.
