Back by popular demand?

Well not really, but its time to begin documenting the journey to Kona! Life over the last 2 months has had its ups and downs, mainly ups just too many of them to handle all at once. I can gladly say however that my personal passion for fitness and professional life have fused to bring you and all other Sydney siders the concept store they have yearned. 2XU Sydney Performance Centre - Paddington.

Training has been going well with just some key sessions noted below:

Sunday 26th
Brick @ Centennial
45km Bike with 30km tt, 33.6 ave, 53 min
25.5km run 3:54 Ave pace, 1:35
With nobody else around to train, I got up early again and started in the dark with a WU. Never felt too stron on the bike and the TT is getting fitted with a Powertap so the roadie sufficed. Run was ok, felt good for 10km and worked the rest, but generally pleased with the run off the bike considering the few brick sessions Ive had.

Sunday 19th - HUNTER VALLEY HALF WINNER
Hunter Valley Half. 73:40 in what I think was a new course record. Happy with this for more than one reason. Was cross country, was so sick on the Wed I was in Bed, Training has been up and down and after he GC Marathon I have struggled, I ran the whole race by myself in windy conditions with a bad anke roll at 19.5km.

Saturday 18th
90km ride on way up to hunter, few hills but pretty easy!
