Ride 30 minutes Easy!
This was just about making sure the bike is all good before the check in this afternoon. Watched the guys run the IM 5km run in fairly dodgy conditions. Pete, Jeff and Jo ran really well. Im hoping for better weather tomorrow!
Went to the briefing and it was all fairly standard, just longer and more complicated really!
Well this is it, had a small nap of around 40 minutes this afternoon and woke to find all the guys in the Team Vladinator gear. Some serious effort has gone into making this all come together and heres hoping for a good result tomorrow. With so many familiar faces supporting the excitement and expectations are growing for tomorrow.
Since January Ive got the Garmin in itself logging over 5000 km's in training. Apart from that some of the milestones include not drinking for 10 weeks, hours of preperation every week, constant tiredness and asking myself so many times if its worth those early morning sessions, pretty much every weekend dedicated to training, eating more energy food products than normal food, etc, etc, etc.
Hopefully tomorrow or Monday I get back on with good news of the race. Until then its a big thanks to everyone for their support. There really are too many names to mention but Jo, Jobe, Pete, Jodes, Jeff, Ads, Eliza, Mark N, The Swizzle man James S, Lucas, Dave C, Tarenator, Pete Shockers, Marc, Spohia, Brett, Deven and many many more have all got me to this point.
It really is the time for the feet to do the talking - Speak soon
The expectant Ironman!
